The Steamy Chapter is a small, woman-owned business offering thoughtfully curated and handmade goods. Many of our products are made to order or produced in small batches. By placing an order with us, you agree to the policies outlined below.

Orders

Please review your order carefully before completing checkout. Once an order is placed, we may not be able to make changes, especially if production has already begun.

If you notice an error with your order or shipping details, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help if the order has not yet shipped.

Shipping

Shipping timelines and processing times vary by product and are listed on individual product pages. Coffee is roasted fresh for each order, and candles are hand-poured in small batches.

Once an order has shipped, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

 

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, all sales are considered final unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect.

We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on:

• Made-to-order items

• Food or beverage products

• Blind Date With a Book purchases

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within a few days of delivery and include photos if applicable. We’ll review the issue and work to make things right.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please reach out to us within a few days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the issue so we can assist you promptly.

 

Blind Date With a Book

Blind Date With a Book purchases are final sale due to the surprise nature of the product. While we do our best to honor preferences and content requests when provided, specific titles cannot be guaranteed.

 

Events & Pop-Ups

Purchases made at in-person events or pop-ups are final sale unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

 

Wholesale Policy

The Steamy Chapter offers limited wholesale opportunities for select retailers and businesses.

Wholesale availability varies by product and season due to our small-batch and handmade production process. All wholesale orders are reviewed and approved on a case-by-case basis.

Wholesale orders are considered final sale unless items arrive damaged or incorrect. Lead times, minimum order quantities, and pricing will be shared upon approval of a wholesale inquiry.
